    Cypress Elementary was opened in 1974. Sited on 10.01 acres of land in the suburban city of Newbury Park in Ventura County, the school has 26 classrooms, a multipurpose room, a library, and an administration building. The school has an expansive field and play area with beautiful mountain views. The campus underwent modernization in 2005, replacing and upgrading underground utilities, restrooms, doors, and improving accessibility under ADA. The current capacity at Cypress is 510 students.
