    Big Sky Movie Ranch is a 7,000+ acre Ranch all within a 30 mile radius in the hills of Simi Valley, California. This So-Cal preeminent Movie Ranch provides a vast variety of backgrounds and diverse locations easily accessible for filming. These locations include our newly built pond and waterfall, old ranch house sets, old western church, giant oak trees, bountiful grass meadows, valleys, rocky outcroppings, over 20 miles of roads, dirt trails, and incredible views overlooking mountains, grassy hills, and more. This iconic Movie Ranch has been used in multiple prominent film, television, and commercial productions over the years. Some of these productions include ‘Babylon’ ,’Transformers’, ‘Men in Black’, ‘Hail, Caesar!’, ‘Coming to America’, ‘Wild Bill’, ‘Twin Peaks’, ‘Jericho’, ‘Gunsmoke’, and ‘Little House on the Prairie’. The Ranch is under the management of veteran movie location manager and producer Robert S. Frank since 2020. Mr. Frank has 30+ years experience of location management in Hollywood, working on over 50 feature films including ‘Murder Mystery’, ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, ‘Baywatch’, ‘Action Point’, and most recently, ‘The Little Mermaid’ and ‘Ambulance”. Mr. Frank is well attuned to the requirements and needs of production companies, studios, talent, and personnel. The level of professional care production friendly policies and assistance you will receive in your scouting and shoots – paired with our versatile and abundant list of onsite filming locations and convenient base camps – will be unparalleled.
